At the service of hospitality for 70 years
Rouge International Resort, one of the most prestigious hotels in Milano Marittima, was founded in 1961 by Mino Benzi. At 18, Mino left Italy to study and gain experience in Germany. On his return he carried on the family's hotel tradition, in years when people in Romagna were just starting to talk about welcoming guests and hospitality.
A family story
Mino Benzi's success was supported by his family: his father Italo, his mother Gioconda Zani (Bettina), his wife Paola Maraldi and their three children Consuelo, Mattia and Emanuele, who is now Sole Director of the family company.
Rouge International Resort today
The restaurant offers the finest of international cuisine, enriched with Romagna specialities, with service worthy of the highest standards of hotel hospitality: maîtres, expert sommeliers, chefs de rang, demi-chefs and commis. In 2008 Emanuele and Consuelo opened "Petit Rouge Restaurant", a terrace with over 100 seats right on the sea, also open to the public. That same year "Maison Rouge" was born, a fully renovated early-1900s villa next to the resort, with apartments and suites for stays of peace and privacy.
